Superstar Virat Kohli

Skipper Virat Kohli recently went through a torrid time with the bat as he could score just one half-century in 11 innings across formats in New Zealand.

The Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC) consisting of the likes of Madan Lal, RP Singh and Sulakshana Nail finally interviewed the shortlisted candidates for the two vacant posts of BCCI’s senior national selectors on Wednesday. Former India cricketers Sunil Joshi and Harvinder Singh were selected to represent South Zone and Central Zone respectively with the former selected as chairman of selectors and will replace MSK Prasad. Interestingly, Joshi has also shared the dressing room with current Indian skipper Virat Kohli in the inaugural edition of the Indian Premier League, which was held in the year 2008.
